John Ramirez began his successful sales career in the food-service industry. It was here that John developed his customer-relation skills and refined his methodical approach to business. In due time, he worked his way up to the position of National Account Director for ARAMARK Corporation at USAA, overseeing approximately four hundred employees doing fifty thousand transactions a day. John went on to amass sixty million dollars in new food-service contracts for ARAMARK over a three-year period.
Always a do-it-yourself-type guy, John found himself to be talented at buying and selling his own homes and investment properties. It eventually became clear to John that his true passion was real estate. Wanting to concentrate his efforts on his new-found passion, John took a chance and left the rewarding food-service business behind.
John spent the next 12 years devotedly representing homebuyers and sellers in San Antonio and greater south Texas areas. His real-estate clients became the beneficiaries of the very same skills that had contributed to his success in high-level management and account sales. He was energetic, creative, and highly capable of problem solving and solution implementation. John had become a leader in identifying real-estate market opportunities and developing acquisition strategies.
Unlike others in the real-estate market, John worked with six different new-home builders in and around the San Antonio area. He became an expert in advising his clients on cost-efficient home building, selecting the best properties for the client’s budget, and finding the right mortgages for any particular situation. John became a master at high-volume home sales during this period, sometimes handling up to nine new-home sales in a weekend.
John analyzed the processes involved in the real-estate market. He was always trying to fine tune the system to be smoother and more efficient. After some time, it began to dawn on him that he was never going to achieve a better system because the industry itself was fragmented. It was clearly impossible to align the different professionals necessary for a project because they were all playing on different teams. John realized that a new business concept was needed – a business concept that would move all of the players in one fluid direction. It was then that John Ramirez developed the concept that would revolutionize a real-estate market. After two and a half years of further planning and development, the new type of real-estate company that John Ramirez envisioned is finally here. Dreamworks Realty and Lifestyles is set to have its grand opening in early 2013.
